AABSyS Information Technology Participates in NASSCOM SME Confluence 2026 Roadshow

AABSyS Information Technology Private Limited participated in the Bhubaneswar edition of the NASSCOM SME Confluence 2026 Roadshow, held on March 6, 2026 at Lyfe Hotels Bhubaneswar. AABSyS IT was represented by Mr. Arun Patnaik, Founder and CEO, who participated as a panel speaker and shared insights on the role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming small and medium technology enterprises.

The NASSCOM SME Confluence 2026 Roadshow was centered around the theme “The Reset – What it Means for India’s Tech SMEs.” Presented at NSC 2026 across 9 roadshows and 3 cities, the Reset highlights the evolving realities faced by India’s technology SMEs, including macroeconomic tightening, rapid AI-driven change, and uncertain market demand. The initiative focuses on how these shifts are influencing growth models, capabilities, and talent strategies among tech SMEs, while bringing together industry leaders to explore how organizations can adapt, innovate, and position themselves for their next phase of growth.

The event opened with an inaugural keynote by Maulik Bhansali (Founder & CEO, Netweb Software and Chair – NASSCOM SME Council), who emphasized the rapidly changing business landscape driven by technological transformation and global economic shifts. The keynote highlighted major developments shaping the future of SMEs, including the rise of the AI-first economy, global supply chain realignments creating new opportunities for technology companies, evolving enterprise buying behavior focused on trust and outcomes, and the growing importance of cybersecurity, compliance, and resilience.

To address these changes, the keynote encouraged SMEs to reset their growth models by moving beyond traditional service-based approaches toward solution-led and intellectual property-driven offerings. Businesses were also advised to expand globally through digital-first strategies, cross-border partnerships, and participation in global value chains.

Another key focus of the confluence was leadership and culture transformation, emphasizing the need for organizations to evolve from founder-driven structures to institution-driven, agile, and innovation-focused enterprises capable of sustaining long-term growth.

The event also featured multiple panel discussions addressing emerging markets, healthcare technology innovation, and collaborative ecosystems for SME growth. Speakers highlighted the importance of industry partnerships, innovation, and sector-specific specialization in enabling sustainable business expansion.

A key highlight of the confluence was the panel discussion titled “The Growth Pivot – Resetting to Capture New Opportunities.” The panel included Rohit Gupta, Mr. Arun Patnaik, and Devesh Sinha, who shared perspectives on how SMEs can pivot their strategies to capture emerging opportunities in the evolving technology landscape.

During the discussion, Mr. Arun Patnaik shared insights on the practical adoption of Artificial Intelligence within SMEs and how organizations can leverage AI as a strategic enabler for operational efficiency and innovation. He highlighted how AABSyS IT has integrated AI into its internal ecosystem to support process automation, application development, improved productivity, and data-driven decision-making.

Mr. Patnaik also emphasized that sustainable growth for SMEs depends on a strong organizational foundation built on three key pillars: values, performance management, and organizational culture. He noted that while AI is transforming business operations, technology alone cannot drive long-term success without strong governance, collaborative culture, and structured performance systems.
