AABSyS successfully conducts AABTonics 2023

AABSyS has successfully conducted AABTonics – a GIS competition for the international academia

AABTonics is an International GIS Competition organized by AABSyS IT, as part of its academia engagement initiative, encouraging young minds to foster an entrepreneurial spirit.

Entries submitted by the teams or individuals were evaluated by a panel of judges comprising of professionals with domain expertise and rich experience in the GIS industry including Mr. Devendra Agarwal – an expert veteran in the GIS industry, Mr. Deepak Misra – a seasoned expert in digital and automation initiatives, Mr. Arun Patnaik – CEO and Director, AABSyS IT and Mr. Rajen Tanwar – Dy. Managing Director, AABSyS IT.

Registration for AABTonics was open during 15th August – 22nd September, followed by an orientation session. During the Level-I round, over 100 participating teams submitted write-ups introducing their ideas, from which the AABTonics Panel shortlisted teams for the Level-II presentation.

Team GeoSolutions from Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics, Pune, emerged as the winners, securing the first position for their innovative project titled “Smart Parking Management System for Urban Areas: Pioneering Sustainable Mobility through QR Code Model”. Priyesh Kumar from Trident Academy of Technology, Bhubaneswar, secured the second position with his project “IOT-based Wi-Fi Sniffer for Network Forensic”. Team Gydraulics from Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics, Pune, secured the third position with their project “GIS, Remote Sensing & IoT-based Techniques for Real-time Water Pipeline Leak Detection.” The results were announced on November 15, coinciding with International GIS Day.
