AABSyS Successfully Conducts AABTonics 2024

AABSyS has successfully conducted AABTonics – a GIS competition for the national academia

AABTonics is an International GIS Competition organized by AABSyS IT, as part of its academia engagement initiative, encouraging young minds to foster an entrepreneurial spirit.

Entries submitted by the teams or individuals were evaluated by a panel of judges comprising of professionals with domain expertise and rich experience in the GIS industry including Mr. Devendra Agarwal – an expert veteran in the GIS industry, Mr. Deepak Misra – a seasoned expert in digital and automation initiatives, Mr. Arun Patnaik – CEO and Director, AABSyS IT and Mr. Rajen Tanwar – Dy. Managing Director, AABSyS IT.

Registration for AABTonics was open during 31st August – 04th October, followed by an orientation session. During the Level-I round, over 49 participats submitted write-ups introducing their ideas, from which the AABTonics Panel shortlisted teams for the Level-II presentation.

Team COSMOS from Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics, Pune, emerged as the winners, securing the first position for their innovative project titled “AQUASENSE: REVOLUTIONIZING AGRICULTURE”. Team Smart Route Solutions from NIIT University, Neemrana, secured the second position with his project “Game Theory Approaches for Optimal Electric Vehicle Charging and Routing.” Team Gryffindor from Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics, Pune, secured the third position with their project “Leveraging LiDAR Technology for Accurate Earth Volume Calculations in Cut and Fill Construction Technique.” The results were announced on November 20, coinciding with International GIS Day.
