Successful BOD Meeting reaffirms AABSyS IT’s growth trajectory

Last week, the Board of Directors of AABSyS IT met at company’s Global Delivery Office in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha for the 17th Annual Board of Directors Meeting. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Directors to take a stock of the organization’s development initiatives, analyze the achievements, identify new areas of focus and brainstorm on new business strategies for future.

AABSyS IT, a leading GIS, software and CAD company had a highly successful and profitable FY 14-15, with the company achieving its overall company goals and beating the revenue and profitability targets for the year. The year saw AABSyS IT making rapid strides in its growth and building a strong foundation for its future. The past year witnessed establishment of a strong second tier leadership team, addition of more than 100 skilled resources to the technical team at Bhubaneswar, strengthening of the support teams at Bhubaneswar, implementation of a number of HR initiatives, revamp of AABSyS IT’s website and expansion of the Sales office in Noida.

On the business front, the FY 14-15 was a successful year for the company with couple of big-ticket client acquisitions in the domestic and international markets and diversification into new business verticals. AABSyS IT was also successful with its focused sales initiative in the US geography for long-term aspirations of expanding its customer base in the US.

The key stakeholders and department heads provided an update about the work done past year, discussed and deliberated on future strategies and finalized goals and business objectives for the next financial year. As part of its strategy, AABSyS IT will continue to actively pursue new service line verticals and markets to keep up the rapid growth with an aim to become an end to end GIS services company. The company will also continue to work towards becoming an employee centric initiatives which align employee goals with company goals, and will continue to make investments in nurturing talent within the company. The discussions during the BOD meeting have provided new focus and momentum for achievement of the ambitious goals and has also furthered the sense of working in a team.

The conclusion of the BOD meeting coincided with the Company’s Annual Function. The occasion was graced by Mr. Tushar Mishra, ex-director, Siemens India and chairman of associated companies and related activities of Siemens India. He shared his valuable industry insights and wisdom with the audience. The employees took a well-deserved break to celebrate the collective success along with fellow AABSyS-ians and the families. The exceptionally gifted AABSyS-ians showcased their talents through many enthralling performances. The singing and dancing renditions of popular songs, fashion shows captivated the audience. This year AABSyS-ians also discovered the hidden acting skills of their colleagues when they enjoyed the award winning theatrical performance. The event reinforced the dynamism, positive vibrancy and the ample talent available within the organization.
