About the Customer

The customer is a UK-based solutions provider for cemetery GIS data integration services.

Business Challenge

To manage cemeteries data effectively, the client sought AABSyS support to prepare a GIS database based on various inputs. This project involved data capture and representation of cemeteries in a geospatial environment.

Solution

To accurately address the client’s requirements, GIS experts at AABSyS undertook geo-referencing of the overview maps of the cemeteries and digitized them keeping in mind their uniform size. The data attribution was based on textual data provided by the client and the final data was added to the central database of the client’s cemetery management system.
